I was wondering if there is a way to enable keyboard shortcuts regardless of whether or not your primary chart is "highlighted/selected". There are times when I will be clicking on either a non-trading chart or maybe the replay chart tool, or the trade activity log, and I will forget to click my mouse on my trading chart when I'm finished. Then when I hotkey a trade I get no response. Is there a setting to allow hotkey trades to always execute if pressed on keyboard? |

Is there at least a way to have a "global" trade window that will change the order configuration for all charts/DOMs open for trading? I am only trading one symbol, but I will have several charts open including a standalone DOM. I change my attached order configuration several times a trading session. The way it is now, I have to have a trade window open for every chart or DOM I may click on and change the desired order configuration in each one in case I use a hotkey immediately after. If I disable trading/shortcuts on my supplementary charts it's even worse because now my order doesn't execute at all. Another possible solution would be a timed period where the default "trading chart" is auto-selected/highlighted after a certain period of time after clicking on another chart. Kind of how the "After single tool use change to" function works, except with time. |
