I am using a "High/low for a time period study" im using it to calculate the high and lows for the overnight session in the E-mini futures,

I have noticed sometimes it plots it correctly and sometimes it doesnt. For example for tonights session I have my start time at 17:00:00 and currently for the high it has 3229 as the

most recent high which is where price is currently trading now so it keeps moving but the actual high for the overnight session is up at 3358.25 so not sure what the issue is

Curious as to what this might be or what I can do to fix it

Thanks

What is your End Time in the study set to? It should be the same as the Evening Session times.

Also, if you want to see the lines in the regular hours, then be sure you use the High/Low for Time Period - Extended study.

Yes I am using the Extended study, I have my end time set to 08:29:59, Im in central time so for me that's right at market open

The overnight high I have for todays overnight session (9/30/2020) is 3336.25 in which really I have 3358.25 as the actual high that was put in last night

One other thing to check on is the Line Stop Time. You should really have this set to 16:59:59 in order to ensure that a previous is not trying to be drawn into the current day. It can impact the result you get.

If that is not it, then please attach a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing.

That appears to have fixed it, I will monitor it for the next couple days just to make sure it stays accurate

Thank you for your help
