I have a couple of questions. When I started with Sierra, I was using Apex as my Broker with a Sim account. When I funded my Apex account and started trading live with Apex, and still doing some Sim, the Sierra chart stayed the same, still showing "Sim" on the top even though I was trading Live. Is that as it should be? This week my Sierra chart stopped working for a bit and I got a dialog that said I needed to Update. I updated and is now running Sierra Chart 1089 Open E Cry FIX/FAST {SIM} even when I'm Live. It seems to act a little flakey at times. Am I running the correct Sierra chart? If not, please let me know how to change over to whatever it should be. Regards, Sierra Chart Support |

Sierra Chart has a Trade Simulation Mode which can be enabled and disabled. This is documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Trading.html#DifferenceBetweenSimAndNonSim The newer versions of Sierra Chart use a FIX/FAST connection to OEC and we do see some problems with it on the OEC side and we are working with them to resolve them. For now we recommend using version 1078: http://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/1078SierraChartSetupPrerelease.exe For the fastest response, please use this Support Board.
