In Nrs bars settings under Determine Max/Min Values for Coloring from: daily data or bar data, it seems to me like there is no change and looks like it shows by daily data even if I switch to bar data

Be aware that only some of the Background/Text Coloring options are affected by the change in that setting. Refer to the list of these here: Numbers Bars: Determine Maximum/Minimum Values for Coloring From If you are using one of the affected coloring types, then please attach a couple of screenshots showing us what you are seeing in both cases.
