Hi there, Setting up a DAX workspace tonight and will subscribe to the barcharts Eurex data tomorrow. In setting up my charts now I am noticing that the data is starting every day at timestamp of 02:15 CET. Why is that? The day starts at 01:10 CET according to Eurex website. |

Continuous trading starts at 02:15 CEST since the introduction of overnight Asian trading on the Eurex. Read these documents carefully: CFTC: https://www.cftc.gov/sites/default/files/filings/orgrules/18/11/rule111618eurexdco002.pdf Eurex Trading Hours Extension (see page 2): https://www.eurexchange.asia/resource/blob/1512546/1a3c93fd60cc5de97c4124f26e284742/data/THX_landingpage_ppt.pdf Keep in mind that continuous trading starts in Singapore at 08:15 SGT, year round. That's 01:15 CET / 02:15 CEST. |

Thanks for the reply but it still doesn't make any sense to me regarding my initial post. My chart has the timezone set to Brussels CET. My start time is set to 01:10 as per Eurex trading hours shown on their site: https://www.eurexchange.com/exchange-en/trade/trading-hours/Trading-hours-20280?frag=243686 Eurex is saying the session is from 01:10 - 22:00 every day. My data is indeed finishing at 22:00 but the start time is at 02:15 not matching with what the eurex website says. If it is due to CEST then the end time should also be extended by 1 hour, of which it is not. It appears to me that over 1 hour per day of data is missing? |

The data from the EUREX is what it is but refer to this section here regarding bar starting times: Chart Session Times: Bar Starting Times Also check the Time Zone setting: Time Zone Setting Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am specifying the timezone on a per chart basis, not what is set in the data trade services. This is because I am trading markets in several timezones so it makes sense to specify that on a per chart basis. Please see the following screenshots and please just try and load a 15m chart DAX chart with your barcharts data and tell me if you get the session start and end time matching with what the Eurex website I posted above is saying. The website you originally points to states that the trading hours during Daylight Savings (CEST) is from 02:15 - 22:00 and outside of Daylight Savings (CET) it is from 01:15 - 22:00. Note that the end time is the same in both cases. Therefore, what you are seeing is correct.

All I know is based on whatever EUREX says is so. Start Time is always 08:15 SGT (Singapore Time), year round. End Time is always 22:00 CET/CEST, year round (regardless of Daylight Saving or European Summer Time). If it's 22:00 in Frankfurt/Brussels, that's the End Time. Since Sierra Chart doesn't have separate time zones for each of the Start Time and End Time settings, you'll have to choose which timezone is best for you, and update the Start or End times appropriately.
