Hi, My DLP value on my trading Dom doesn't want to show the daily LP in currency. The realtime PL value is correct but the DLP value is in ticks instead of $. I have set the Position Profit/Loss on currency and the currency value per tick at 12,5 witch works perfect for the P/L value but not for the Daily P/L. Can you help me please. I'am on simulation and my trading service is set to SC forex data (no broker) Thanks |

Please tell us the exact value you see for the Daily Profit/Loss and where are you looking at it. What we want to know is if you see a C after the value.

Hi, yes I see the "C" after this value Please, look at the picture on this link https://www.dropbox.com/s/h3lw26sr2qqvdsn/DOM.jpg I would like to see my Daily profit loss in currency. 1 tick = 12,5$. In the picture you see -4 instead of -50,00$. Is it possible ? thank you |

Select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2. Set the Currency Value Per Tick to 12.5

I have already done this but it doesn't works It's why I don't understand. It works with the P/L value but not with DPL |

This could be. This means the setting is also being picked up from Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. You need to change the Currency Value Per Tick value for the Symbol there as well.

Go to the chart and select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate. That should cause the trade list to be rebuilt and Daily Profit/loss calculations to use the new setting.

No I'am sorry but it doesn't work. I took a few screen shoot to explain this issue. Thank you for your help but It doesn't change anything. I reloaded, closed and open the trade windows with no success I have the same issue on the trade activity log windows, the Cum P/L is in point even if I select Currency Value in the P/L format. |

We have verified again, that the calculations do work properly if you change the Currency Value per Tick to 12.5. We suspect that the Currency Value per Tick in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings for GER30 is set to 1. Please check it. It can be reset when Sierra Chart is restarted. You may want to uncheck Overwrite Existing Settings When Automatically Updating from the Server in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings.
