This functionality does work without any problem. If you are not seeing what you are typing show in the title bar, make sure the window is in a restored state, then that looks like the problem. But it is a system issue.

Ok let me just confirm that,
I am able to type in a new period, and a new symbol, successfully in a Maximized or Restored window on Win10,

but to able to change study inputs, It must be in a Restored state?
Not seeing it working in either state.

Would think that the conditions that allow periods and symbols would also allow new study inputs.

No we are only suggesting this just to be able to clearly see the title bar and see the characters being inputted.
