Hi Sierra Support, At first I would like to congratulate a great software. The Sierra Chart, in my opinion, is the best analysis program I have ever met. I have a few suggestions that can further improve the work: 1) In the tool "Type Text", to add an option of vertical alignment of the text (rotate 90 degrees to the left) and an option to oblique orientation of the text (rotate 45 degrees to the left and to the right). 2) In the tools "Rectangle" and "Extending rectangle", to add the "Transparency %" also for the Outline, so that it would possible to draw a transparent rectangle without a darker outline. 3) In the draw style DRAWSTYLE_BAR, make invisible the protruding edges of the bars that are visible when we draw a line along the peaks / troughs of these bars. See white arrows in a picture. Also, make complete the missing edges of the bars, at the junction of the line you draw along the peaks / troughs of these bars. See yellow arrows in the picture. Maybe it would be good to make a new special draw style to such a case? Something between DRAWSTYLE_FILL_TO_ZERO and DRAWSTYLE_BAR. 4) At the end of the most important very useful thing that would help make good trading decisions. Make possible to detach the entire Chartbook, so that we could see two / three Chartbooks simultaneously and independently (eg display on two monitors). Best Regards! |

1. This could be added for an additional charge. Not sure about the price but it would be at least 75USD. 2. This is something we do not have an interest in because transparency inherently is complex and inefficient. We are certainly not going to do anything that increases complexity for no practical benefit. 3. If you want an honest answer to this, from our perspective such a request like this is disregarded because it is incredibly complicated, inefficient and makes no practical sense. 4. This already exists. You can add a keyboard shortcut for Trade >>Auto Trading Enabled through Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts.

Whether it would be a one-time charge?2. This is something we do not have an interest in because transparency inherently is complex and inefficient.
There is a simple (I think so) way to solve this issue. Just add an option "Disable Outline" (it probably is not complex and difficult). In this simple way we get the primary purpose - the possibility to draw a transparent rectangle without a darker outline / light outline if background is dark color.We are certainly not going to do anything that increases complexity for no practical benefit.
It has praktical benefits. When we draw several areas (from a few timeframes) of demand / supply which will overlay, then there are visible much darker outlines, causing a large unreadable. |
