Hi support team or any participants that could help.
I finaly decided to go through the Denali Sierra data system, happy with it so far.
The only thing is that, since i disconnected from Rithmic to Denali, all my categories and "own" symbol (mostly personalised spreads) disapeared !
So when I go to "find symbol" i cannot find them.
I know that Rithmic does not use the same symbol "architecture" than Denali but, still i would have apreciated to keep my categories and symbols into my system and sort all them myself.

Knowing Sierra a bit, i am sure they are kept somewhere in a specific file, maybe someone could help me on that.

Best regards
Zak

The symbol settings and any customized symbols and settings that were created under one Data/Trade service setting do not carry over to another Data/Trade Service setting selection. Therefore, you would need to recreate these with the new selection.

Refer to the information here for how to edit the file that contains the old customized symbol settings so you can recreate these for the new Data/Trade Service:

No need to do them again, you can just rename the file to the appropriate name.

What is the existing file name? The files are in the SymbolSettings subfolder.

Ok i see, what i ve done following your first reply, is to edit the file renaming the symbols to the apropriate Denali "way". it worked !
But if i renamed it only, would the system have recognised the symbol format ?
example s&p 500 with rithmic = esu0-cme
with denali = ESU20_FUT_CME
thanks for your help

You do need to update the symbols appropriately in the file as well.
