hello when i try to add a symbol to the chart, the symbol does not show up completly it only shows a line at the top of the region. you will see it clearly on the screenshot. |

The most likely thing is that you accidentally deselected the option Chart >> Show Title Bar. If this is deselected, then select it again, but you will have to demaximize your chart and then maximize it again in order to get the display back again. Refer to the information here regarding that option: Chart Menu: Show Title Bar (Chart menu) Another possibility, if it is not the above, is that you have removed all the lines from the Chart Header.
