On the Add Additional Symbol study, the Price Multiplier field doesn't have any effect.

There is no problem with that input. We have tested it and there is no reason why there would be an issue. Is this a Historical Daily Chart or Intraday chart?

The problem appears to be with the symbol I'm using - $DNX. With that symbol the Price Multiplier doesn't have any effect on a Daily chart and on an Intraday chart the symbol won't show at all (says 0 value at every point). If I replace it with a different symbol like $INX then on the Intraday Chart the symbol shows and the Price Multiplier works, but on the Daily Chart the Price Multiplier still doesn't work (I tried ES-202009-GLOBEX as well to see if the problem was because it's a cash index, but the multiplier still didn't work nor for an FX symbol like AUDUSD).

Normally I'm impressed by your level of support but on this issue I don't understand why you won't look into it further. I've been playing around with the Additional Symbol -> Price Multiplier with different symbols on different charts and I keep running into the same problem. It seems strange to imagine that it's something wrong with my setup.

Sorry but this issue is really bugging me. Please could you have a look at the attached chartbook and tell me if you see the same thing: the -1 Price Multiplier for the Add Additional Symbol study works on the intraday chart but not on the daily chart. If so, please can you fix this issue. I've provided a screenshot so you can see what I'm seeing. I'm using Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and Interactive Brokers trade service. I use this all the time to invert symbols and overlay them on other charts. The only other way round I can see is to use the Overlay study but that requires opening a new chart for every symbol you want to overlay, which is cumbersome. I imagine other users want to do the same thing as well. Thanks. |

We did discover one problem under certain conditions related to this and it was corrected. Update the latest version and see if you still notice the problem.
