Is there any way to scroll a chart window horizontally without dynamically changing the scale or positioning of the vertical axis? I would like to be able to scroll left and right without any effect on the vertical presentation.

Two ways come to mind. One way would be to use Constant Range scale without Auto Centering. And uncheck this option in the Scale window: Constant Range Scale: Re-Center on Chart Scroll. The other way would be a User Defined scale. That's perfect. Now, how can I make this the default setting for all new charts?

That makes sense. I was looking for a global way to do these things but the better method is to duplicate my favorite chart setting(s) as needed. Thanks.
