Is it not possible to use own calculations on quote spreadsheets with updated cell references.
I have the settings for spreadsheets to update cell references in global settings but it does not work.

E.g. my quote spreadsheet uses columns A to S for the quote data.

If I then have own data and formulas in T to Z and I have e.g in Z2 the formula =Z1*G9(G9 content of quotes) and I then append some symbols to the quotes the content of G9 is shifted down like intended, but the formula in Z2 stays Z1*G9, which of course is wrong then.

Is this intended like that?

Thanks

We would need to understand exactly how you are manipulating the data to see what may be happening. When we tried this, just now, everything worked as expected. When we set the Global Settings >> Spreadsheet Settings to Update References to Match Moved Cells and used the Insert Row option, everything updated properly (i.e. a reference to cell I2 changed to I3).

What I do is : After the last filled row on the quote spreadsheet I enter a new symbol through making an entry in Column A, row xx (first free row). This entry is then automatically sorted into the quote list above. Let's say it is sorted into row 3, which puts row 9 into row 10 effectively.
Now I have the field in Z2 that referenced G9. And this is not updated to G10 then if doing it that way.

The functionality for appending like that is there, so it would be great if also the referencing would work that way.
I cannot even manually insert a row because in the middle of the field rows (quotes). As soon as I do that the rows are re-sorted. Which is great if the referencing would work.

Thanks
