I began using the $TICK data a few days ago and it was as expected... It did not agree with the TICK-NYSE-I-NYSE data from Interactive Brokers, but it prety much was ok...

Then yesterday, and today, the $TICK was delayed... and it came in little blasts... totally unusable...

Just a note about this same subject, I remember the CME having a lot of trouble with the TICK and the TRIN a few months ago, maybe the trouble has returned.

I sent a copy of my log, Dont know if you got it...

Thanks
Hal

I am too having troubles with $TICK right now. When I am use "Delete All Data And Download" then historical chart seems to be correct, but real time streaming is crazy. The values oscillates between +3000 and -1000. I am using Sierra Chart P5 built-in data for the $TICK. Today I updated SC to the new 1088 FIX/FAST version if this may be cause of the problem...

The data looks good to us and we do not observe what is being described. Please post an image of the chart, by following these steps:

The data is definitely good and we do not know why this is happening in your particular case. We will have to run a test when using OEC.

Hi, today this issue happened again to me. At 9:17 AM (Chicago Time) the Sierra Chart disconnect it self and then reconnect to data feed again - it happens to me sometimes now with the new FIX/FAST version. After it the $TICK started to show me the "wrong candles" again... Now I switched back to the version 1066 and the $TICK is okay now...

I am just wanted to let you know... I will stay with 1066 for now and if you will figure out what may be the problem, then let me know, thank you.

Note: I've tried a few times to install 1066 SC version and then I go back to the 1088 but reinstallation did not help.

We now recognize why this happens. And it will be resolved in version 1089.

We recommend using version 1078 for the time being:
