Since Sierra runs without multicore processing, and tends to slow down as one adds more indicators / data / spreadsheets. Can I use more than one instance of Sierrachart on the same machine, and simply use one to feed / stream data for trading, and another for reading the data - post mortem?

It makes a lot of sense to do this, since I can already run like 3 other platforms at once even while sierra lags 5 seconds behind at time*

Yes you can do this. Refer to the documentation here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/MultipleServices.html For the lagging issue, refer to help topic 4: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails4.html In regards to lagging, this is not a Sierra Chart issue causing the lag. We see you are using Rithmic and there have been many reports of this lately. The issue has to do with available bandwidth or a server-side issue. Rithmic has contacted us about it and we are implementing some different connect points that should help. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
