Hi, I would like to place buy limit order that is active till certain time of the day (about 2-3 hours). I have placed the order from Trade Window and used TimeInForce: Good till Date Time. I edited the date and time as follows: 2020-07-21 09:18:00 but after the Sierra chart clock gets to 09:18 the sales order was not canceled. Second question, is it possible to place such orders (Good till Date Time) directly from the chart, not via Trade Window? |

We have looked into this. In the case of the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service only the Date is used and the exchange would treat that as expiring at the end of the trading day with that date. Second question, is it possible to place such orders (Good till Date Time) directly from the chart, not via Trade Window? Yes whatever the Time in Force is set to on the associated Trade Window is what will be used for the orders.
