Greetings, I have an IB account with Sierra Chart for charting and trading. I am unable to send Attached Orders from Sierra Chart chart trading. The stop gets inevitably rejected leaving the limit order active. This has nothing to do with how far I am from price etc. I am unable to set attached orders from the chart or even from the trading window upon initiation of a trade because the stop gets rejected. I don't get an error message. Calling IB: they had never heard of it. Note that I have another account in the States and I don't have this problem with Sierra Chart in this different instance and different account but SAME BROKER: IB. Thank you, RadarTradar |

Thank you for your answer: For your info in future cases,I was able to circumvent the problem by changing the stop type to stop from stop limit. Apparently it was the Stop Limit that threw a wrench into the system for IB. Go figure. They read something like too far from price etc. but 30 ticks is not too far from price. Anyway, Stop it is. |
