Drawing a rectangle that cross regions

Hello, I'd like to draw a vertical rectangle (yes, I know ... Tools>>Rectangle), but that cross regions. Let say I'd like to highlight an oversold RSI situation with a the main graph and draw one rectangle to illustrate the whole scenario. Right now, when I draw the rectangle it limit itself to the main graph and I need to repeat the same procedure for the region below. Isn't there away to draw one sigle rectangle accros regions ? There has not been any change to the functionality to allow rectangles to cross regions.
