@Sierra Chart Engineering I have the Numbers Bars study overlaied on the Market Depth Historical Graph Heatmap on my chart with the Background Type set to "Background on Dominant Side". I am able to filter change what Background Colors appears for Range 1,2, and 3 Up and Down Colors by using different values for percentage and actual Background Coloring Methods. However, the Range 0 Up and Range 0 Down Colors cannot be filtered out based on the 3 filtering options in the Percentage or Actual Amounts settings in Numbers Bars. Currently, I just change the Range 0 Up and Down Colors to black to make the colors inconspicuous but the black color option still covers the Market Depth Historical Graph Heatmap underneath (see attached). I would like to have the Dominant Backgrounds that are colored based on the Range 0 color settings appear as transparent so that no background appears for values that do not meet my filtering criteria in the Numbers Bars study. Numbers Bars: NumbersBars Calculated Values Background Coloring Example I am aware of the "None - Transparent" background coloring option but it does not appear that there is a transparent color setting available in the Basic or Custom Colors of the Color settings. Would you be able to provide a checkbox or a Yes or No field that would change the Range 0 Up and Down Colors to Transparent? Or possibly add a transparent color option to the Sierra Chart color palette so that users can select the "Transparent" color option when they do not want to display a specific background or text. Thank You |

@Sierra Chart Engineering I am following-up on this previous post. Would it be possible to make the Range 0 background colors transparent? |

Good morning. Do you have any updates on the implementation of transparent colors in Sierra Chart? It's been a few years since the requests, and I understand that it’s not a simple task. This functionality in study's like Numbers Bars and studies in general would create further possibilities for customization and overlaying study. I hope it gets implemented soon.

I switched to Sierra Chart a few weeks ago, assuming this is a standard feature, but now I realize it’s missing. Honestly, it’s a bit problematic not being able to add transparency to ranges since I can’t overlay multiple indicators with different setups. Do you think this feature will be added soon?
