Hi, 1) I understand that individual orders can be closed using the trade orders window whist on sim. However I'm finding that the order shows up less than 50% of the time when it's placed on the depth of market tool, and when it does show, it wipes off in less than a minute (rather than 20 minutes which was suggested in the manuals). Is there a problem with the trade orders window in the sim setting? 2) I want to be able to trade so that I exit my last order FIRST (rather than first order first) - how do I do this? Thank you for your time |

1. In the case of simulated trading, you can only close/flatten the position from a chart Trade Window: Basic Trading and the Trade Window 2. What you are referring to is the matching of order fills after there are executions. You can control this with this Chart Setting: Chart Settings: Use Last In First Out Fill Matching (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for your reply. Does that mean that the trade orders window will be available during real trading? And if I have multiple positions open during a trade in sim mode, is there a way of seeing a list of my trades from the chart trade window and closing them individually? Thanks |
