In the study, in the Compare Threshold settings, what if you want a percentage comparison but above 100%. Now is set to .999 to look for doubles but what if I wanted 200% or 300%?

Thanks

This will not work. Not quite clear what the scenario is where you would need a percentage greater than 100. Probably the logic of the Numbers Bars study is that you could not use a percentage greater than 100.

Well the idea is if you want a differential of 200% or 300% minimum you are out of luck.

456x201
100x100

If I want the 201 to highlight because it is 101%(or greater) above 100(from the next lower level) but not to highlight if it were 199 (99% above) I can't do it.

This is exactly what I am running into as well. Figured I would do a search on the forum before asking the question myself. In using your Number Bars Study to show an Imbalance between bid and ask it would be every common for someone to want a 100% or greater difference marked (from Bid to Ask). We would greatly appreciate it if you would look at possible solutions to allow this type of parameter.

Thanks,

Doug

With the current study, most percentage comparisons are versus the maximum value, so no value greater than 100% would make sense.

The one time when this is valid, is when you are doing Text Coloring with an option of Text On Dominant Side or Text On Dominant Side Auction (Note, we will soon support similar Background coloring options). In this case, the bid and ask volumes are compared and larger percentages do make sense. In this case, just specify the numbers you are looking for (i.e. 100, 200, 300 translate to 100%, 200%, 300%).
