Hello Sierrachart, I used to run some automated strategies in SR but then I moved that into another platform but now I need to move away from that platform so I'm looking to come back to Sierracharts. A trading system is linked to a chart but I need to be able to have my outside code modify that chart instrument so it can trade on an instrument found by my other tools which I have coded myself too. Is this possible? Is there a ACSIL function to change the symbol in the chart where that strategy is running in? I can't find it in the documentation. Is there another way? I can't just open all charts for all these instruments and let it running, I need to be able to trigger it from outside. Thanks! |

Refer to the following ACSIL variable: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.DataFile In an automated trading system you can also trade a different symbol than the symbol of the chart.
