No Crypto or XBT data on new SC Account through AMP

Hi,

I just opened an account through AMP Clearing. I got the real time CME data set up on my account but now I can't access any Crypto-currency or XBT data when I search for the symbols. I chatted with AMP but they said they can only enable CME and that I had to reach out to you guys to enable all crypto data.

We can make available the BitMex data and also the Coin Flex data, however right now you do have access to the BTC CME futures. This is listed in File >> Find Symbol.

Thank you, yes that would be great since I don't trade BTC on CME. Is the "Coin Flex Data" the same as what's listed as "Cryptocurrencies Data - DTC"?

Hi was Bitmex data and coin flex data made available? Is there anything I need to do? I still can't find any crypto symbols.

We have just now added Coin Flex symbols for the Sierra Chart order routing service, market data only.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

After you update the symbol settings you will see them listed in File >> Find Symbol.

Hi I need BitMex data feed and I still don't see it. I'm not actually trading on BitMEX but I like to use their chart and index for other trades. Also on the trial version, I had access to Cryptocurrencies, Deribit, and Poloniex. Can I get these added too please? Thank you.

Yes we will certainly add BitMex.

But really you just need to install another copy of Sierra Chart:

And can set that to use the crypto currencies data service.

I've tried that but it I can't even connect to it because it's not enabled.See attached image of the message log when I try to connect to Bitmex and the Crypto currency data service. It says I can't connect because it's not enabled. It tells me to go to my account control panel to change it, and even there it says my account isn't enabled (see attachments). May I please have an ETA when these will be enabled?

We have added the BitMex symbols to the list of symbols when using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. We are not sure you have access to them since your account is with AMP. We would have to look deeper into that. But you can easily test.

I have the Bitmex symbols now, but when I load it my charts are just blank. Is it possible to just enable the "Bitmex Trading Direct" AND "Cryptocurrencies Data" data services and I can just use another copy of Sierra Charts to access? Being able to use both Futures and Crypto order book charts was one of the main reasons I decided to switch to Sierra Chart. Thank you.

You need to have a direct account with Sierra Chart to access that data.

Okay I do have a personal account that expired. If I pay for a direct account, how can I get the cheaper real time CME data fees?

You will definitely be able to take advantage of the nonprofessional CME fees because you have a funded trading account. You just need your AMP trading account assigned to your own direct Sierra Chart account.

And you only need to pay for that one account. You no longer need to pay through AMP.
