I have taken Global datafeeds trial subscription. I have configured Global data as a DTC Server for Data and Interactive Brokers account for Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance. The symbols have been mapped and confirmed from CustomSymbolSettings.interactive_brokers.trading.xml file. The charts are plotting. There is a delay of 8 to 15 seconds in loading the chart in the client (trading) instance, even though both instances are running on the same computer. 1. Please suggest solution to fix this lag. 2. I once again tried configuring Global data as a DTC Server for Data and Interactive Brokers account for Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance, both on the same system (Windows 10, x64, RAM 24GB, Sc version 2239 etc).I still faced the following issues and therefore discontinued:- 1.There is a delay of 20-50 seconds in loading the new symbol in the Global Datafeeds application called NimbleDataPro. 2. The chart on client instance frequently becomes jerky/sticky, thereby causing serious issues like shooting orders inadvertently (Autotrade mode). Please fix datafeed issue. The above problems are not observed when I use IB for both datafeed and trade service (single instance). Reason for not wanting to use IB datafeed are quality and accuracy of datafeed issues. Therefore, need an alternate datafeed (DTC) service provider, with local customer support during trading hours. I am ready to co-operate with Global Datafeeds, should they want to fix this issue. 3. Though I do not have any issues about Global Datafeeds, please explore alternate datafeed source for NSE India exchange.....there is a huge market potential for SC. I suggest Truedata. I use their services for Amibroker. Their feed has very low latency and is reliable. |
