volume per bar chart bars based upon a specified amount of trading volume trades per bar This sets the number of trades or ticks per bar. Isnt vol=to amount traded?
Very simplified: Trade is a transaction, volume is the size of content (the amount of an asset). The volume is always equal to or greater than the trades. For example: You can buy / sell several contracts (volume) in one transaction (trade). ---------------- "What Is Volume?" https://www.investopedia.com/terms/v/volume.asp Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-05-15 15:22:54
