Hi all

Is it possible to add an additional filter / formula to the divergence detector?

At the moment it's very noisy with false positives. I want to filter what I think at false positives out by using a secondary study which needs to be in alignment.

I know I can do it with the audio alerts but I'm hoping to also be able to filter the little arrows.

Thanks
Matt

I figured it out myself. I added a "colour bar on alert" study and modified the alert to include multiple study outputs.
Then switched it from bar colouring to arrow above/below the candle.

Love SC!! :-D

Thanks
Matt

Hey Steve

The divergence detector gives an output when divergence signal happens (check the chart values window)
Now, if you "hide" that study, the values on the subgraphs still exist.
So, now you add the "Colour bar on alert" study and set whatever criteria you want in the Alert condition tab.
So then combine this condition with the divergence you add the divergence detector's subgraph (plus whatever else you want) into the colour candle study.
Remember on the colour candle to set output value to input (like candle low) and the subgraph to "arrow up" (for example).

Hope this helps

I sent you a pm request. I’m new to the platform, and not sure of what you mentioned
