Hi, I am trying to complete the set up with instructions on this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php. 1. Regarding the primary and backup servers, does it makes sense for me to choose a different set of backup servers since I am based in Switzerland? For example, should I have the backup servers from London and Germany? Would it change anything in terms of latency? 2. At step 14, when I should click on: File -> Connect to Data Feed, I am unable to click on this button because it is unavailable for me to click on it. However, I can successfully see the live data coming from the CME exchange on my charts. Can you please guide me in the right direction. Thank you in advance, Ahsan |

1. What exchanges will you be trading? All three servers should to be different. It does not make sense for them to be the same. 2. This means Sierra Chart is already connected to the server. 1. Exchanges traded: CME, CBOT, and Eurex. I am currently connected to the server 2, server 1, and server 4 for the primary, backup 1, backup 2, respectively. 2. Understood. I am getting the data feed perfectly. |

You know really what we recommend that you do is install two copies of Sierra Chart. One for EUREX trading and one for CME group trading: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time So for your EUREX instance you will use Server 3 as primary and you can use the US servers as backup. And for your CME group trading, use Server 1 or 2 as the primary. And pick 2 others as a backup. This really gives you the ultimate set up. And when we start offering the EUREX data out of Frankfurt this is going to be even better. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Am I in compliance with rules and regulations if I am accessing real-time data simultaneously with the following setup on a single computer: 1. First SierraChart installation to trade one product of CME. 2. Second SierraChart installation to trade one product of CBOT. 3. Third SierraChart installation to trade one product of Eurex. The primary and backup servers will be the same for CME and CBOT. For Eurex, they will be as you mentioned above. |

Hi SC Team, I am with AMP and previously was using SC TT order routing service with multiple instances of SierraChart open simultaneously for CME, CBOT and Eurex (extremely happy with that setup). Unfortunately, since the switch to using CQG order routing only with Denali exchange data feed for all these markets, I am unable to have multiple instances open. Is there any workaround to this? I am waiting for a better alternative altogether as I am uncomfortable using CQG based on your recommendations. Thank you in advance. |

The changes from TT to CQG should not have made any difference in your data feed, as you were using the Denali Exchange Data Feed previously. Additionally, there is no reason for any changes to your setup. What exactly is happening when you try to open another instance? Is it just data that you are having a problem with, and if so are you getting a message about connectivity? Yes this can be true depending upon the way in which you are using the different instances. The way in which you need to use multiple instances is through New Instance:Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I have successfully replicated my entire previous setup now and receiving the datafeed correctly, thank you. However, Ether futures (ETH) from CME is not displayed anymore as an option under "Find Symbol". It is the only symbol that is missing. Can you please advise? |

Update your Symbol Settings following these instructions: Global Symbol Settings: Update Symbol Settings Then go back to Find Symbol and it should be in the list. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
