HI, I know you guys and girls have been working a ton lately on a bunch of new features and they are terrific but I was wondering since you are now showing millisecond time stamps if i could get 500 millisecond charts or half second charts or even 750 or 250. just to break downn some stuff. this is not necessarily trdeable of course but for a look back it is great but real time would be fantastic. even a 500 ms or half second would be a great start. I am assuming 250 milliseconds is pretty close to the threshold of sierra to display data at the smallest granularity ? |

We have not yet implemented subsecond fixed time chart bars.

Did subsecond charts ever get figured out? I see it says milliseconds per bar in chart settings/bar period. 7.5 seconds is what im trying for |

RE: WHAT VERSION ADDED MSEC BARS? EDIT: I upped version to 2348; Has msec bars. Sweet. My idea for workaround below (to over-loaded chart not issuing intrabar orders)... appears mostly solved. I will test SIM with Live feed. Everything appears good. SC's original RSI works great. Please let me stay on 2348 as long as possible. Sorry to bother you. Thanks for all your hard work. --- I prefer trying an intermediate release (Leaving strong 2272; now trying 2327)-- needing millisecond bars (500 msec) ("bar period type" to milliseconds (H-M-S-msec)). Your 2 or 3 reponses to posters seemed to imply millisecond bars were implemented around 10-2021 (around V 2323?) V2327 after restarting still does not show H-M-S-msec; J97 still shows "0". Does that not work on established charts? Or, is V2308 still before sub-second bars were fully added? Will 500 to 900msec+ bar period work with 1 sec unit storage records (2+ trades usually occur per 500 msec with EP). My system is too big for tick records. (This is for a workaround of heavy 55-charts/studies system, where long formulas apparently caused the last chart to stop issuing intrabar orders (331 msec chart update interval); I think maybe a workaround by "end of bar" evaluation as a 500 or 900 msec bar feeding a final 1 sec bar (30msec update) simple chart might place immediate orders (rather in row 4-- the problem now).
