First I want to thank you again for great support and your great trading platform! My question: How much influence for the performance backtesting of spreadsheet trading systems does the CPU power have? I backtest on a multi-core/multi-proc maschine but seeing that SC does not use all the power the maschine has. I already optimized my spreadsheets as described here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Backtesting.php#ImprovingPerformanceSpreadsheets Is there a better performance by using the "Non-.NET/CLR Version of Sierra Chart" Version? |

During back testing Sierra Chart is only going to use a single core. Multiple cores and multiple processors will not help. The spreadsheets in the non-CLR version are still under development and have not been finalized. It is our objective to greatly improve the performance with them, but they may not be as good right now. Once again, at this time, the Spreadsheets in the non-CLR version, are still in the development phase. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
