How can I modify a drawing element that is inside another one? example I draw a horizontal line and then above that line a rectangle, how do I enter the properties of the horizontal line? when I try to select the line the rectangle is always selected or both are selected showing a number. thank you

Try Menu -> Tools -> Manage Chart Drawings Window (Ctrl-Alt-M) From there you can select the drawn object and press the properties window. That is one way I know of. JohnR |

Refer to the information here for Converging Drawings and how to select a specific drawing using the pointer. Note that this section is about Moving Drawings, but it applies to all the functions where you are trying to select a specific drawing where there are multiple drawings present: Chart Drawing Tools: Converging Drawings Regarding rectangle drawings, disable this option: Chart Drawing Tools: Support Interior Rectangle Selection (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Tool Options) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
