Pivot point study not displaying on DOM

Im having trouble getting the Daily pivot point study to display on my DOM. At one point this study displayed fine, however something has changed and im not sure what. I have tried creating a new DOM from scratch and adding the study, but it still does not display correctly. Is there a specific screenshot i should attach to show which settings i am currently using?

We are definitively not going to provide any support for this. You need to use a standard chart for that study. You have no idea what that study is based on and how it is functioning without even seeing the chart bars.

You have no idea what that study is based on and how it is functioning without even seeing the chart bars. That's quite condescending. my previous charting package had no problem displaying pivots on my DOM. there is no need to see chart bars to use pivots. Not sure how this is any different then adding Daily High/low reference lines to a DOM

Hello, Just want to let you know that I might have found the reason for this issue after I've tried to add the pivot study onto the DOM as well. To fix this, you just need to make sure the proper "Session Time" is set on the DOM (with or without Evening Session, the Beginning and Ending time). And of course, the correct "Formula Type" that you want to use for the Pivot, which I am sure you know. If it's still not showing the levels you think they should be, you might want to test the study on a regular chart to make sure the settings are right. Once the levels are correct, compare the DOM's chart and pivot settings against those of that chart. I know this post started about 2 years ago. Hope it could help others as well. |
