Hi 1) How can I move a button from one control bar to another one? 2) What is the file (or files) to copy if I wanted to take the modified control bar from one Sierra copy to another (in a different computer)? Thanks |

1. It's not a matter of moving it, you just add the button to the new toolbar and remove it from the old one. Refer to the information here for adding/removing control bar buttons: Control Bar: Customize Control Bars >> Control Bar 1-12 (Global Settings) 2. The file that contains all the Control Bar configurations is the Sierra3.cfg file located in the main directory of your Sierra Chart installation (typically this is C:\SierraChart). Just be aware that it has all of the global configuration, not just the Control Bar configuration. For reference, you will find information on what is in each of the files at Step #5 in this section: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-04-19 22:17:26

What I mean... say I have 1 control bar with 15 customozed buttons, ana another with 5... is there any way to 'move' or copy 5 buttons so both bars have 10 buttons each, withouth having to manually add and reconfigure each? For the site, it seems that not, but just confirming if there is a better way, thanks |

+1, especially needed working with multiple instances.

There is not a way to "move" buttons from one control bar to another. You just have to remove them from one and then configure them for the other.
