Hello,

New user here and having trouble recreating the Ask/Bid volume delta by price candles like in my attached file. I have spent several hours playing with settings in the Numbers Bars and Volume by Price studies. I find the delta by price and histogram that aligns with the dominant side only (like in my screenshot) very useful. The split volume profile options are close but not quite what I am after. Please advise or tell me if this exact visualization is possible. Thanks so much.

There is not a way to do exactly what you are looking for. Your closest options are to set the Background Type to Background on Dominant Side and then use the color setting and threshold Inputs to determine the relative values.

Or you can set the Background Type to one of the Volume Split Profiles.

I have also been seeing if I can get the same settings, I appreciate that there is a close alternative but no quite the same. Is there anyway the Sierra engineers can add this view to the number bar study?

You should be able to get pretty much exactly like what was in the image given by the first poster. As noted above, you would want to set the Background Type to Background on Dominant Side.

If you want a single color for each of the bars and not a gradient based on any particular item, then set all of the Up colors to be the same and all of the Down colors to be the same.

In addition - to get the candlestick outline, use the Candlestick Body Outline in the Open and Close Marker Style (you also have to set Place Open Marker/Boxes In to Column 1, or other column as needed).

Yes you can use the dominant side but it won’t give you a similar split profile based on Delta, Sierra only has a split profile based on bid and ask so yes you can colour based on delta but you won’t get the delta split profile, that is correct, right? Can you add it for us?

So you would want to see a Split profile in which you would have "Bid - Ask" on the left and "Ask - Bid" on the right?

Hi John exactly that so if the delta is positive it splits right and if it is negative splits left same as the picture the author posted on the starting post.

Is it something you can look into?

Ok. We understand. We will put this on our Feature Request, but we do not know when we can get to it.

This is something I'd also appreciate, the tradovate style is very easy to read and coming from that platform would be great to continue using that style. Did this feature get implemented?
