When using the study i can change the high and low values to be based on 'close'. how can i do this when using the p&f chart type? seems it works with high-low instead. i don't see anything similar to what i have in the study 'Calculate only using close price' Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-04-10 14:28:07

This is not possible when using the built-in Point and Figure bars. Those are designed to be very accurate and stable. There is no room to use an option which will create inaccuracies or instability.

I understand the 1st point - not possible. Can you elaborate on the 2nd a bit more? what is the issue with inaccuracy? There are two ways I can see when searching for this charts (e.g. stockchars.com), close and high-low, and 'close' takes lots of the 'noise' out compared to high-low as it has less volatility |
