Study/Price Overlay study Versus OVERLAY(Bar)

Hi support, I am overlaying one chart that runs in 1 min time frame on another chart that runs 10 sec time frame ... I used the study/price overlay study [blue line in attached chart] -- So I read ur comment here <<<If you need to overlay the main price graph from another chart that has the same chart Bar Period which is based on a fixed amount of time (Example: 5 Minutes per bar and not Number of Trades ), and the same Session Times as the chart you are overlaying to, then it is best to use the Overlay (Bar) study. It is more efficient.>>> Hence, I used Overlay 10 sec source to 10 sec destination which is the yellow line... As you see there is big gap -- which one is accurate to be used ? Both of them is what u advise to do ... Does this mean that overlaying is imprecise in Sierra chart studies ... I am using the two modes of your recommendation and I can see a big difference .. Kindly advise ! |
