Hello, Is it possible to send data from SC to Excel so the price data/studies data can be viewed/manipulated in Excel independantly? For example, can data from a proprietary study be viewed in excel in the same way it can be viewed in the native SC spreadsheet? Also, can Excel connect to an SC datafeed directly or will the data need to be exported first from the native SC spreadsheet to excel? Kindest Regards, |

There is an indirect way this can be done and that is through this new Spreadsheet Study Input: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetStudyInputs.html#PeriodicallySaveSheetAsTextInMinutes Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. hello again, i researched the response you provided, but still cannot understand how to leverage this information. let me simplify my question by asking: is there a way to use excel in place of the Sierra Charts spreadsheet? Kindest Regards, |

hello, i would like to say in closure, if some sort of a bridge existed so that we could send realtime data from our configured chart studies directly to Excel that would be wonderful. kindest regards, ps - please consider this ticket closed if there is no way to do this. |

You know we can tell you the exchanges do not like this functionality. In our plans to expand the data offerings of Sierra Chart, this functionality is just not allowed.

I find that strange as CME provides this functionality with its own front end Product CME direct.

Not all exchanges will have this rule.
