I dont know why, i configured mtgox and created an api key with the correct privileges for sierrachart. After configuring sierrachart everything seems smooth, i enable trading, turn off simulated trading, put in a buy limit order and get the following error. First time using the Trading DOM. Thought i did everything correctly but guess i didnt. Just a small hurdle i presume. Any help is appreciated guys. Im getting the error Trade Order Error - MtGox order update (Rejected) - Chosen API not found. Internal Order ID: 5. Service Order ID: (none). Symbol: BTCusd
Edit, if this is a Mt Gox issue, is it possible to explore a macro type of alternative or will that be to sloppy? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-11 19:49:31

Could you confirm if you have set the API Key and API Secret in File >> Data/Trade Service Settings window? Could you also let us know what the Order Quantity was? Currently 1.0000 BTC is specified as 10000 in Sierra Chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. What we are planning to do is add support for: https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/api We have contacted them, but they are not particularly communicative with us. We want to develop quality interface to that particular exchange. Not something substandard. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes Api Key and secret key are plugged in, also the proper privileges have been set for the api. I specified order quantity to '1' instead of the '10000' or '1.0000'. Should it be working ATM? Or is it really a Mt Gox issue?? I am familiar with bitfinex and am quite fond of their platform, more so then any other exchange. I respect Bitfinex for being one of the more versatile exchanges. But my second question would be; When and if sierra stops supporting Mtgox trading, will you guys still support the data feed for mt gox? Thanks SC Pros! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-01-12 03:57:29

A quantity of 1 is going to get rejected from MTGox. It is too small. This error: Chosen API not found. comes from MTGox. We will continue to support the MTGox data feed. And as we understand you can trade MTGox through Bitfinex . Contact them and let them know that you would like to see Sierra Chart work with their exchange.
