I am using the 'study overly - ohlc' on a 5minute chart. I have referenced a 1 minute NISS-SP chart and set it as region 2. The problem here is that your documentation says that I am supposed to see 1 minute candles but this study automatically sets the reference chart to whatever timeframe I set the main chart to be. I would like the study to stay at the timeframe of the reference chart no matter what I set the main chart to. How do I achieve this? |

We do not see how this is even technically possible and cannot reproduce. Make absolutely certain you are using the correct study: Study Overlay - OHLC (Open, High, Low, Close) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am using exactly that study. See attached. See that arrow? On the study window under my main chart it has changed the size from 1 minute to 5 minute bars. Yet on the chart I am referencing, it is a 1 minute chart. |

Nope. That doesn't work either. Your documentation says: "This is useful to be able to create OHLC bars for a study to see its range of values during a longer duration bar by referencing the study Line/Subgraph on shorter duration bars." So, is it possible to put a 1 minute timeframe study onto my 5 minute chart without the study resetting to 5 minute? |

There is a misunderstanding as to what that is describing. In this case the one minute bars are combined into a five-minute bar.
