Greetings, i like the graphic performance boost while using OpenGL. I dislike however the Loading times when i switch to another chartbook. So i disabled the option "Destroy Chart Windows When Hidden" to improve the loading times under OpenGL. But now Workspace Scrolling doesnt work anymore and this is a must for me. So WHY is "Workspace Scrolling and NOT Destroy Chart Windows When Hidden" not working together? Suppossed lack of Graphic Card Memory? Can you make it working together so i can have all the good stuff and dont need to prioritize? I cant give up the scrolling, thats for sure. Not using OpenGL would be by far the more suitable option. Best Regards |

Well first of all this workspace scrolling which is available now is using Microsoft operating system functionality which is absolute complete trash. Utter complete trash. We are not providing any support for any problems with it now but it will be fully reimplemented properly by the best engineers in the world we expect before the end of this year. In Sierra Chart, dialog windows and the multiple document window, is provided by Microsoft. Basically these are garbage. So the dialogs in Sierra Chart at this time are garbage and we know it. Yes, Windows sucks big times. BIG BIG BIG TIMES!!!! This OS cant even handle multiscreen setups properly. Thanks, looking forward to it. Edit: BTW...you introduced these two line buttons. I tried to set images in the properties because i am on 4K. Doesnt work for me. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-03-23 09:35:45

Should be no trouble setting an image. Instructions: Control Bar: Control Bar Button Properties This works just fine. We verified it. Question about horizontal scrolling: can it completely be disabled in settings? While using a mouse, accidental scroll or a tap of the scrolling wheel makes the chart fly in one direction. The settings are set to 1 bar when scrolling but due to the OS, the scrolling amount is like 20 times that.

The only thing you can do is change this setting regarding the scroll wheel: General Settings Window: Scroll Wheel Setting (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Scroll) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. That's perfect, the option "No scroll wheel support" is exactly what I looked for. Also the search function in settings is outstanding, saves a ton of time! Thank you!
