I am currently running version 2060 and it is freezing when trying to open a single chartbook of the ES. I tried connecting to both Interactive Brokers (IB) and Dorman Trading using SC Futures Order Routing/Data [trading\ service. Sierra Chart freezes when connecting to either IB or Dorman. What information do you need to troubleshoot this issue?

I just read in Bloomberg there is a limit down on futures. Is this the main reason Sierra Chart is freezing?

No definitely not. It is unrelated.

I am able to open the chartbooks on GC, CL, EUR and NG but unable to open chartbooks on futures that are limit down: ES, NQ, YM and RTY. Any advice?

There can be various causes. All of the items that are known to cause high CPU usage are documented here:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

Start by referring to:

I have the same problem, ES trading is halted right now and when I am loading my ES chartbook, the platform freezes.

This makes no sense. Refer to help topic 30:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often

There is some explanation of why you are encountering this. This certainly makes absolutely no sense to us as being related to a limit down condition.

I solved it, it was not SC that caused the problem, but a 3rd party indicator. I loaded an intraday ES chart without any indicator and it started loading the market data. After that I loaded my ES chartbook without any problems.
