Since migrating to Denali data feed from broker provided data services and updating to the latest Sierra Charts app, it seems that I have been struggling with storage space. I have not built any new chartbooks, however the size of c:sierracharts\data is almost 100GB and growing. It seems some of the scid files are over 1GB each, one of which is a EURGBP.scid - I don't even use this type of chart and never have. I didn't realise I would need such a large HDD for Sierra. This had temporarily stopped my trading charts from updating live data, however I know its not a data feed problem because the DOMs are working and time and sales are updating live. Is there any method for managing my data storage in the short term (which files can I delete?) Obviously, getting a bigger HDD will solve this, but should my data file continue to grow? First the data is compressed and does not take that amount of space. The amount of data is actually about 1/3 of what you are saying. You need to look at the actual size on disk. Not the size of the files. Start by following the information here: Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Cleaning Up Old and Unused Symbols for Efficiency Then go to this section for how to delete the files that you are no longer using: Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Deleting a Chart Data File You can also compress the data further: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#IntradayDataFileManagement Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes but I was still getting the error message about being unable to save, because I was short on space. I could see that size was around 100GB and 'size on disk' was about 30gb. However, when I clicked on properties of c:drive it showed the disk as maxed out, and subsequently SCharts was unable to save.

Understood. You definitely can delete unused files and that will save a lot of space. And it is best to put Sierra Chart on a dedicated drive on your system for the best performance.
