I have a chart that I am using just for the Number of Trades study. I have the chart settings "Graph Draw Type" set to BLANK because I don't need the chart, I just need the Number of Trades. Is there a way to get the Number of Trades volume per X time period WITHOUT having it attached to a chart since I don't need the chart at all? And, is there a way to add an AVERAGE line of a different color with a number output to the Number of Trades so I can see the average vs guesstimating what it might be?

Any moving average from the default Sierra studies with a change "Based On" in the study settings (you can give another study as the source) For example Moving Average - Simple study Output Drawstyle (values, graphics), Width and Colors you can change in the tabs Subgraphs in the study settings Is there a way to get the Number of Trades volume per X time period WITHOUT having it attached to a chart since
Look at:Moving Average - Time Period study Moving Average - Time Period In some situations, however, this will not be accurate. Of course, the study fails to split the bar in half. For a more accurate result I would recommend doing a calculation on a time chart (in the Chart Settings >> Bar Period Type... Days-Mins-Secs Per Bar) and transmit the result via Price Overlay Study to your chart Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-02-29 16:31:33
