Hi, i have a affiliate sierra chart account (ampfutures), but wish to link my account to interactive brokers for forex. i saw in another one of your tickets that i need a direct account. so just to check is my only option to have to buy two sierra chart accounts in order to access my interactive brokers fx data feed? alternatively do you have any forex broker feeds that i can enable on sierra? |

You just need to pay for your own Sierra Chart account and cancel the Sierra Chart you pay through your broker AMP. So you just pay once. Any update on the ctrader implementation? This would be fantastic if you made it happen. The only drawback of SC is that it is, almost entirely, a futures platform. FX/CFD trading is only possible through IB (solid FX offering, but with the known problems of support, API etc), and LMAX (I used them, not recommended for various reasons as leverage management, child orders management etc). Implementing ctrader opens up a whole new market of FX brokers (FXpro, IG, Pepperstone, Darwinex in the future and other brokers and solutions like FTMO etc). It makes tons of sense to go that way, and you have the advantage of opening to a large new customer market without implementing solutions for each broker. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-08-31 20:46:16

Decided against (more probably) professional forex traders and in favor of (more probably) hodl crypto fanatics. Noted. Even engineers don't have all the correct answers. It's a bad decision, financially and quality-wise, but it is your right. Have a nice day.

It was decided against because it does not meet our standards. It just simply would not technically work out. There is absolutely nothing good in the area of cash Forex and we have no interest in getting involved in this any further. This is final. It's a bad decision, financially and quality-wise, Nothing could be further from the truth. We have to apply our abilities, where we can succeed the best. This is what we are working towards. Cash Forex is not it. Cash Forex is a waste of our intelligence an absolute huge monumental waste of our time. We are not going to do that. Sorry go elsewhere. We don't want the business. And besides the fiat currency markets, are headed towards their death. In 10 years, probably much sooner, it is going to be clear that these are dinosaurs. It does not mean that crypto currencies backed by nothing as they exist now, are the alternative. Hard assets (Precious metals), utilizing certain crypto currency technologies makes much more sense.
