Hi, an option to show "current session only" in addition to "all loaded data" and "visible bars only" would be helpful. Reason? I trade during the US overnight session and the large trades at the close of the prior session distort the new session's graphics when using circles. Where is the code for this indicator? Many thanks!! |

Hi Ackin, thank you for replying. I had checked that page before posting. Was just wondering if it happened to be under a different name in one of the studies*.cpp files. Given support's silence, I'll infer the Large Volume Trade Indicator's code is also unavailable.

I make a similar thing. So far, it only works in real-time transmission. This week I'm going to program historical imaging. I don't know what you're using. I want to pair with the limits and check the result on my ACSIL tester.

Hi Ackin, eventually I'll get around to coding a version that has a couple of enhancements: (1) the ability to set relative values per session (as per my OP), and (2) being able to display bundled trades without having to set this for the entire chart. Haven't done my research for #2 yet but it might be possible using T&S data.

interesting :)using T&S data
you won't see history...

Thanks for the heads-up about the T&S data. I'll need to do some proper research on ACSIL functions before knowing if the bundling of trades can be done by the study. And since I don't know how to reference the tick-by-tick data for an aggregated chart (like we could do with NT7) it will probably be necessary to grab the historical data from another chart.

I would like to have what the OP mentioned as an option as well. I would want to see high volume relative to the current session. Better yet, an additional option to reference a set time back would be beneficial. For example, reference the previous hour or four hour volume only. It could be set for the overnight session and then reset once the day session starts.
