I'm looking for an indicator that measures acceleration in the market. The formula would take into consideration how many ticks price has moved in a given period of time, relative to the average movement in ticks for each minute of trading. (i.e: in the past half hour, we’ve moved 1500 ticks, which averages to 50 ticks for every minute of trading) This average would be given a divisor so that it always equals 1. (so, in this case, it would be divided by 50 because that is the average movement per minute in the past 30 minutes) So if price then moves 70 ticks in a minute, the indicator’s value would show 1.4. Does this type of indicator exist?

This would be something that you would need to custom create.
