I plan to fund one trade service account using SC charts and CQG data; I plan to enroll in another, unfunded account, also using SC charts and CQG data, which I will trade sim for the time being; Can you advise whether SC will support this multiple service configuration, and if so, how to set it up? tnx |

We really do not recommend CQG and we are not going to provide any help regarding using CQG. We recommend that you use the Sierra Chart order routing service instead of CQG: Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service And for simulated trading we recommend you use this service: Simulated Futures Trading Service You also just need a single Sierra Chart account for what you want to do. If you want to install multiple installations of Sierra Chart, refer to: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The reason we do not want to help with CQG is that there are problems with connectivity and difficulty with authentication, entitlements, and connection restrictions. When you are using our own services, all of these issues are eliminated. And you will not spend anything more and get a far better quality of service. If you have two different CQG accounts, you will be paying 10 USD a month for those. Whereas with an additional 20 USD a month that you need to pay for the Denali data feed when using our order routing service, you are not going to be paying anything more and you will be getting a much higher quality data feed. If your broker only supports CQG, then this is another matter and yes you can use CQG. But we just want to make things easier for everyone. But once again if your broker only supports CQG, then this is the only choice. And that will be fine. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
