I am interested in getting Sierra Chart because I am want to learn how to trade using market profile and order flow/footprint analysis. Sierra Chart seems to offer the best capabilities here at a reasonable monthly price. I am happy to paper trade and/or just observe for awhile, so I do not need to place trades for the time being. Is there any recommendation as to how I can do this without having to pay for additional data feeds, or if not, what is the most basic option available? I am happy with equities only at this point, but I plan to eventually trade futures. I currently have an account with TD Ameritrade. I read somewhere that it was somewhat (poorly) compatible with Sierra Chart, but I don't see it as a listed broker option. Any help would be appreciated! |

The best option is to use Sierra Chart Package 5, which includes delayed streaming data from the CME Group of exchanges. Therefore, this would only cost you $36.00 USD per month, or less if you purchase multiple months at a time.
