Delete in quote board

In quote board, I have always been a le to delete a symbol by highlighting it and pressing the delete key. It no longer works. Is there a setting for this? How to fix this?

We are not able to reproduce this. When a line in the Quote Board is selected that has a symbol entered, then selecting the Delete key will remove that symbol from the quote board. I have cleared the shortcuts. Delete key still does not work.
