custom VWAP drawing tool

i would like to be able to draw a custom VWAP study onto a chart...similar to the Linear Regression tool...point and click to pick a start and end point...and the result is a VWAP line. The user can then edit the properties of the VWAP study for standard items -Standard Deviations Bands (default to 2 like bollinger) -input data (default to all trades volume weighted avg price from underlying data, HL/2, HLC/3, etc..) -Continue/Extend study drawing to the right with new market data (yes/no) My thinking is...when a significant event occurs in the market, i want to measure *VWAP from that point and going forward* because it creates meaningful retracements and extensions. is this possible? if not, can this be added? so i'be been using these VolumeByPrice custom VWAP levels and its been amazing...using the intraday VWAP levels (VBP study drawing starts at the security open) as support/resistance has been off the charts...the only thing i can suggest is to make the VWAP band being visible as a default option, because it works so well. I've made it default on my system...so i'm all set, and i would just suggest that other people do what i did. SierraChart Rocks!!! |
