Hi - I came back from Christmas break yesterday, and for the first time ever, when SC finished with downloading historical data, there wasn't any. The oldest data I had was one hour or so. My data feed is from DTN IQ and I've already been through all the tests with them and established that the data feed itself is in place and working. I've looked on the SC help forum and tried deleting and downloading (several times), completely powering off the machine overnight, using force login and nothing works. The system is exactly identical to when I turned it off before Christmas, except for the fact of having no historical data. Hope you can help |

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download". After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog ---- Also you really should use one of these data feeds documented here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart You will save a lot and these are better data feeds. You did not wait long enough for the data download to complete. Follow through the procedure below again and be sure to wait a minute or so. Maybe wait two or three minutes. Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download". You appear not to have understood. The data download DID complete. And when it had finished, there was only a few hours of data on the page. Less than one day. On all charts. I did 'delete and download' several times, maybe five times. Every time, the same result. No matter how long I waited. On one occasion I did the download, then went to a meeting and a lunch. When I came back, there was only a few hours of data. The download DID complete. |

Yes we understand but we have no way to see exactly what was downloaded until you show us the full log after the download completes.
